Hello.

Nice new thred we got here. Hope someone in here sees this and can help me with a problem I'm facing...

I have a model that I animate that has a long cloth on her but the cloth jitters too much. I don't mean jittery in a wierd kid of way, the cloth simulation looks perfect but it's like the simulation is played like at 5 times the speed of what it's supposed to be. For example I have this character walking at 1x but the cloth seems to move very fast like 4 to 5 times faster than it's supposed to, like it's on a different timeline than the character.

Tried playing with numerous cloth settings but no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sure, I'll help out the best I can. If you can list the settings you have for your cloth material, I might be able to determine where we can go to improve the simulation. It could be the air drag is all that needs to be adjusted to slow down the movements.

Thanks. smile.gif

Ok. I'll try that.

By the way I'm using A:M v14a. Somehow for some reason cloth crashes if I use A:M 14b and 14c. Do you or anyone in here experience similar problems?

I'll post if I have any success or not. Thanks.

Cool! I'm glad it worked. Will you be showing us a clip of your new simulation?

I will when I'm finished with it. At the moment I haven't totally got it down with the character's animation yet.
