Blubbity, blubbity, blub, my friend,
Blubbity, blub in the tub,
Blubbity, blue, blubbity, blee,
Blubbity, blub those crows... You’ll see.
I stand in a cornfield, scaring up crows.
I’m waving my arms and wiggling my toes.
The crows they’re ain’t lookin’,
They don’t seem to care,
No matter how many blubbity, blubs,
I yell in the air!
Blubbity, blubbity, blub, my friend,
Blubbity, blub in the tub,
Blubbity, blue, blubbity, blee,
Blubbity, blub those crows... You’ll see.
You might think this is silly,
Especially me,
You might call it wacky,
Waving my arms at the trees.
But them crows, they be rasc’ly,
One, two, and three,
Those crows, they be scardy,
Listenin’ to me!
Blubbity, blubbity, blub, my friend,
Blubbity, blub in the tub,
Blubbity, blue, blubbity, blee,
Blubbity, blub those crows... You’ll see.
Who be this scarecrow,
Who can’t scare up no crows?
Is he really a scarecrow?
Lord only knows,
But watch this scarecrow,
And you'll see how it goes,
You'll see this scarecrow,
Thump a crow on it’s nose!
Blubbity, blubbity, blub, my friend,
Blubbity, blub in the tub,
Blubbity, blue, blubbity, blee,
Blubbity, blub those crows... You’ll see.
Blubbity, blubbity, blub, my friend,
Blubbity, blub in the tub,
Blubbity, blue, blubbity, blee,
Blubbity, blub those crooooows... You’ll seeEEEEEeee.
Here it is. First run through. Just as before, anything can be changed. We'll have to find Scarecrows best key for singing. Let me know what you think.

Yup... got a suggestion here too.
Martin/Holmes/whomever,
I object to objectify the tub in this nonsensical song.
There, I've said it.
Unless Scarecrow is actually in a tub in which case I withdraw my objection.
The suggestion would be to add more blubbitys and blubs.
So:
QUOTE
Blubbity, blubbity, blub, my friend,
Blubbity, blub in the tub,
Blubbity, blue, blubbity, blee,
Blubbity, blub those crows... You'll see.
might become...
Blubbity, blubbity, blub, my friends
Blubbity, blubbity blub (or Blubbity, blub blub blub)
Blubbity, blue, blubbity, blee,
Blubbity, blub those crows... You'll see.
Rational: (do we need any for such a nonsensical song?)
I can easily imagine Scarecrow's pantomime performance underwater... swimming... holding his breath... but I wouldn't restrict it to the image/idea of a bathtub. Any underwater place in the audiences imagination will do.
More importantly, it gives the animators more freedom.
God forbid someone introduces a tub into this scene just because the word is used in the song.
Edit: I'm not sure where this fits into the script. (Cornfield?)
This is pretty important stuff those. The movie is about him!
