Sorry about the 8mb file... I'll reduce it eventually.

This is a regional TV commercial for a major pizza chain I got the opportunity to make. Photorealism was the goal, and at true HD (1920 X1280) resolution. My theory on photorealism is that it truly is 'in the eye of the beholder' and that it is an elusive bird to catch. Regardless, the coin-bounce actions created by Newton-Dynamics were accepted from day 1 as realistic actions by my finicky art director, and actually helped win the account from competitors using software that cost thousands more $.

Using ND, I was able to perform dozens of simulations, and reject any that I didn't like. The 'keepers' were then used countless times and were placed according to their 'end positions' to spell out the logo.

This spot is currently in progress, and is changing daily. The audio is rough, many details yet to be added.

More to come-

AND--- he's back from his Northern Michigan holiday. I'm happy to see the interest in this forum.

Whilst I was up in Houghton Lake, MI My father-in-law was happily toying with his new satellite TV... I asked, did you have to clear some trees to get antennae clearance? Yes, he said they had taken down several tall pine trees out back- so I went out back to see if there was some clean-up needed... Nope, the trees that were 'felled' had simply fallen 20 degrees or so and were now leaning against the trees next to them...so clean-up has been postponed until the next big wind storm-until then he has 250 channels of whatever he wants to watch. As I looked up at the trees leaning on trees, I thought of Newton-Dynamics and A:M...

THANKS for all the interest.

Uh oh.. That is ridiculously dangerous! If the bottom kicks out on that, it'll take out anything in it's path.
