Nothing to see yet.

Just starting this thread so that I won't be able to procrastinate more.

Almost finished with the face, skin.

Honest.

(Next stop - researching Victoria's Secret for respectable undergarments that won't have VPL** under clown clothes)

Mucho thanks for the new Topic Nancy. I have updated the status report with you texturing Brat. I'll upload a Status update later tonight.

Nancy I don't know how you do it but keep on doing it.
Wow. What a transformation!

He's a very different character than the one he was before you textured him.

I like!
KenH
Hahahahaha! Love him. Leopard skin man. The hair's especially great.
The lines on his lower eyelids look a little un-natural (to me). And they'll be noticed easily.

Stunningly good! Keep it up!

Looks good Nancy.

Are you finished? I'd like to add the hat bone.

NancyGormezano
Thanks, everybody.

Ken - Yeah. The eye/face wrinkles bothered me too. I've uploaded a new bump map for his face which makes his face/eye wrinkles a bit softer. Given that this character has 3? 4? lines in the movie, and I'm guessing, probably isn't on screen for more than 2 minutes (if that) - I figure it's probably not worth it to obsess tooooo much more over it now. Can tweak it later if it really is a problem.

Mark - I'm done...you can do what you need to do. One thing that I've noticed is that sometimes (not always) the repeat counts for the textures (that have repeat counts) get reset to 1 x 1 (when doing a copy/paste, export from an action, & maybe from doing other things that I can't figure out) - so please try to be aware.

Thanks again all.

All I'm doing is adding a bone and assigning cps to it, it shouldn't be a problem.

OK Nancy.

I guess you've used this map just a few times? biggrin.gif

Actually those freckles & veins are new, it's just the 5th tweaked iteration of it for Brat - 3dpainter creates the name "copy of blahblah.tga" when exporting the texture map, as opposed to photoshop which creates the name "blahblah copy.tga". I'll also add the numerical suffix sometimes, depending on what I've done. I don't usually save over an existing map until I'm sure I like the new version better.

I guess I could rename the final maps...but it helps me to keep it straight as to the file's evolution, and I like to keep the option open of going back a version.
