Test render of the Cavern set. The portal to Oz is through a hole at the back left. Still some rocks to be added.

Wow, that looks very painterly! When i first looked at it I thought "that must be some sort of sketch the model will be based on."

I'm not sure I see the "hole on the left" however.

Robert the hole is behind the camera......the cavern stretches back abit.

Getting abit closer. The original render is the first. The second is altered and I think it looks better.

I like the cool, damp feel of the second one a lot.
Very nice.

The background has a repetition of the same texture three times that perhaps could be broken up just a little more?
It may not be readily apparent when animated so I'm not sure how important that'd be.
