Is there a 'trick' to rendering on a mac? I'm not having much success (half the time I don't even get to the render window before bad things happen) with both 14c and 15a. Are there applications I should not have open or running in background with AM? I have Quicksilver, BOINC (suspended), Little Snitch, App Monitor and BlueHarvest running in background whilst Mail and Firefox are usually running on another window. How about if Pararells was running (running with or without the host OS). I don't seem to have any problems with rendering in the project window (quickrender etc)

Note I am running an iMac Core 2 Duo 2.4ghz with 3gb RAM and OSX 10.5.1 and I am still very new to the Mac world and not aware of this environments vagueries so to speak. (I have reported my problem)

Cheers

I have a ritual I do before rendering, where I save everything and then quit A:M. Then I relaunch it, open up the choreography I saved and click in the toolbar near the render to file button (but not on it) and then click the render to file button. From there, everything goes fine.
