Please can anyone help me on this?
I am trying to get 3DPainter to work in A:M,it works perfectly when launched by itself.

In the plugin folder in 3Dpaint i noticed there was no Hxt file for V15 so copied the V14 hxt file over to the hxt folder in A:M V15.Was this the correct thing to do?

Edit: I have managed to get it working in V13 + V14,Still doesn't work in V15.

I don't have v15 so I can't verify on my machine.
There is no hxt label 15, only 12, 13, 14. I used 14 on an early beta of v15 and it worked.
Do you have the latest 3DPainter (1.5.3 ) ?

There was a message from a Mac User, but your profile shows you're using windows, so I ruled that out.

I have the latest version of 3DPainter 1.5.3 i installed this morning,for some reason it just won't see the hxt file in V15.
Knowing me it is probably something that i have overlooked but i can't seem to think what it might be?

Have you tried any of the other hxt functions, like sweeper or extruder or Font wizard. Just to make sure that it's not the path to the hxt folder thats misdirected?

Yes, the v13 and v14 plugins both are compatible with A:M15.


It's probably the hxt folder that is set wrong in your A:M15 copy.

Hi Glenn,
Every other plugin works ok.I forgot to mention that 3DPainter does not show up in the plug in list at all.
I have un-installed and re-installed both A:M V15 and 3DPainter but to no avail,the thing is that it works in both V13 + V14 with no problems at all.

I just figured out the problem.When i went into Tools-Options-Folders all that it was showing was the Webrender hxt location.All i had to do was add the V15 hxt location to it.

Thanks, Jay - you fixed my problem too. All my plugins had disappeared when I installed WebRender.
