It was the little icon next to my "Shortcut to Camera1" option, which was switched from the "tranparent cube" to the "crossed out" icon.
I don't know what these mean, though.
The "crossed out" icon means the object will not appear in the realtime view, but will render. This can be useful when you have a lot of stuff in the chor and it is slowing down the frame rate in realtime view. As you set objects to the "crossed out" icon, the fps will speed up and the chor will seem less sluggish.
The "transparent cube" means that the object will appear as a wireframe in the realtime view when you are in "Default Draw Mode" (7 on the main keyboard - not the key pad) "Default Draw Mode" tells the program to use each individual model's draw mode. The is different than if you set the draw mode for the entire chor to "shaded" or "shaded wireframe". With "Default Draw Mode", some models can be wireframe, some shaded, some shaded wireframe etc.
