Will someone please try to use TreeZ with AM v15a Web Version?
It was working just fine in v15, but I just upgraded to v15a and when I invoke the Treez plugin, AM hangs indefinitely with processor maxed.
PC WinXP, AMD 6400+(3.2GHz), 2GB RAM

I'm just learning how to use Treez, so I thought I would ask before sending a report to AM Reports.

I just launched a test after reading your post.
A simple base and target works fine.
I'll try a more complex one.

A more complex Base w/ more complex target works too.
It does take quite a bit longer to create comparitively though.
Aprox. 2 seconds (simple tree) versus almost 30 seconds (more complex).

What do your Base and target look like?

Mine was quick then I copied flipped and attached added some material and got this

OK, I think I figured it out. I don't think it has anything to do with moving from v15 to v15a.
I was playing with the extra properties (locality, thickness, branchlength, regularity)
I think the errors occur when I set a default value for these properties in the model.
When I leave the properties set to "Not Set" in the model, and change them in the Action instead, TreeZ seems to work fine.

Oooo. You may be on to something there.
I'll try to to confirm.

I've never played much with the extra properties and that means I've been missing out on a lot I'm sure.
I need to publish the 'tree root' generating scheme if I can do a proper write up of that as well.
If you hide parts of a target mesh Treez creates the limbs as roots instead of branches.
