Hi HASH Inc.

I like to get the new downloadable up grade Version 15.0. Early this year I found that my CD 13.0 version would not work properly because of some MS IE update. So I bought a dongle, which allowed me to download 13.0 and 14.0 Versions. How long will I still get support for 14.0 using the dongle in lieu of the new download subscription system A:M is starting next year? Will it only cost me $49.99 to up grade now a year? In the past when I bought the CD version I paid $199 a year.

So I have these questions:
  • Because I have been using this product since 2005 do I only have to pay 49.99 a year to upgrade?
  • Do I need my Dongle any more?
  • Is the downloaded version all I need for 100% functionality?
  • Is your New reference manual full color like the pdf version and your Tutorial manual "The Art of Animation Master"
  • Is it an official Animation:Master Technical Reference not a third party?
  • Can I get a hard copy color reference manual without buying a CD?

That is correct. The websubscription is only $49 for everyone.

No, you won't need it. The dongle has been discontinued.
(Keep it for a rainy day when you might need to fire up your 2005 version)

The websubscription/download is 100% fully functional.
Some of the data files (extra models, projects etc.) don't come with the installer.
You will want to download those also.

Both Techncial Reference and TaoA:M manual are in full color in printed form as you see in the pdf version.

The A:M Technical Reference is not third party. Its a Hash Inc publication.

Yes. Both the Technical Reference and TaoA:M manual are available via Hash Inc online store.

These and other FAQs can be found in the v15 Websubscription FAQ. smile.gif

I don't want to be caught short on cash when it time to upgrade. I wonder if I could pay for the upgrade and pre-pay for the next year upgrade at the same time?

Is it too late to buy the v14 CD upgrade? I guess my concern was that I wish I knew or had some kind of alert that this was going to happen beforehand, and I would of have sprung for the v14.

Since this has turned into a little 'subscription QnA' forum I have one to ask:

Is there a printable invoice with the subsription?

Yes, the store generates one for you- you can log in to your account and retreive it at any time-

You may want to keep it around to run the versions you use with it now, just in case you find some incompatibility between your old projects and the new version.
