Hello, I have been away from A:M for a while but Want to come back! I would also like to upgrade, seeing things like sss and multi threaded rendering etc, I missed last years since I was and still am a poor student!

So, I was wondering if I could buy a chrismas present for myself this year... When Does the Upgrade usually come around?

Ay! Welcome back! Upgrades are yearly, typically. We are currently enjoying a stellar V14 and beta testing V15 which will feature fluid dynamics. It does not matter how many years you have been away, your $100 (99?) upgrade will get you the latest key. (Tinman of OZ CD)

I'v never thought about it before, but I would love to make the Hash mascot at the next cd...

The mascot was decided in October. The new disc will be ready sometime in Jan so you're probably best to wait till then. That disc will then get you updates until next December.

Thanks for clearing that up Ken, Nice to see you're still around. Things seem Allot emptier around here, I guess thats TWO ramping up huh. As for the mascot, I meant the following year!
