I purchased Animation Master at the DVexpo in LA yesterday (12/5/07). I just returned home and tried to install. I'm prompted for a serial number. The box came with The CD and the "extras DVD" and a "The Art of Animation Master" book (with brown stains on the back). The box was not shrinked wrapped so I'm afraid the guy at the show gave me an incomplete/used/beat up set, unless the serial number is somewhere I don't see.
Any help on where to find the serial number?
Plus, it looks from what I see is that this CD is version 13. Is that the current version?

Did you look on the inside of the book cover?

Did you look on the inside of the book cover?
Yes, that is the first place I looked. It's usually where I find serial numbers.

Look closley it's a Red stamped # on back inside of cover on manual and on min it was very fant barley readable. The First thing I did was rewrite it in permenant marker.

I think that v13.0L is on the "Oz" CD (it has the Tinman and Scarecrow on it), but, you can download the latest v14.0c
here. The latest version of v13 is v13.0t...and can be downloaded
here.
Hope that helps.

I had that very problem last night. I have 11.1, and I found it stamped on a piece of paper about the size of an index card. It wasn't in the book.

You -might- have gotten an upgrade rather than a new license. I can't imagine that that would be the case, but you never know. Email steve@hash.com ASAP and he'll help settle it.
