Unfortunately Kelly had to bow out of TWO due to to many other things in life at this moment. I am sure we will be seeing more of her once things calm down her wink.gif

So this scene reverts back to me so this is my first attempt and blocking.

Here are some notes....

thanks!

Ok I changed the poses and I added breakdowns of SC only. I am off to the cottage today right after work so I thought I would post what I have so far thinking you can look at the poses and SC motion to see it is too much before I do the other characters

Hi Mark,

The Scarecrow looks great! I think the rabbit can be done the same way.

The tinman needs to be trying harder to get away...

Ok I changed the poses of TW and redid the anticaptation and breakdown pose to match new poses. I animated rabbit in simalar manner as SC. TW needs more polish and maybe something for winkies?
robcat2075
Somehow that foot doesn't look like it's under him...

but it's looking good, Mark.

thanks!

Fixed foot position and moved hand more into a halt pose and altered timing of each characters starting as you said. I am wondering about the winkies should they relax there pose a little after the three main charaters start moving?
robcat2075
That looks good. Yes, you could have the Winkies drop their hands a bit when Tinman turns away.

We'll need to figure out a way to keep the dynamics from moving anything while the picture is supposed to be frozen.

Easy fix.

You load the shot into an editor cut out frames 4:04 to 5:04. Hold frame 5:05 for 1 second and start the rest of the animation from that point. Save output to a mov. done.

It looks to me that Tin is off balance and the frozen pose you chose robert, looks awkward. Tin's facial expression makes him look scared IMHO. As a king, shouldn't he denote a posture of athority and control? I think his pose should show that he's basically putting his foot down and has had enough with the autographs.

This pose (again to me) makes him look scared and the out stretched arms looks like he's trying to catch his balance.

The still to motion part looks good!!

I think I has over done the Winkie motion but I thought I show it anyways maybe I have not over done it too much? I going to to start working on SC 90 tell I hear about this. I main thing I think I went wrong with is the scale of translatation in the hip bone. I know you said to lower the hands but I wanted to have a slight arcing of hips as well. I arced hips in a close upview abd did not realize how much motion I was given them. I am wondering if I can box select the hip done translation curves and just scale them done. So you you can give me a % of reduction you like to see Robert that might help.

I think what's making that look big is that their anticipation is almost as big as the move to the new pose. The settling motion they do can be very slight and would happen a hair after the tinman turns way.

And the Tinmans' foot is starting too look like it's not under him again. unsure.gif

Now that i look at Tinman a bit more, his hips are rather staying in about the same spot over his feet.

I think we were going to have him shift his weight away from where he was turning. Look at the pitch vid again, I do that a little bit when I turn.
PF_Mark
Ok how does this look?

Hi Mark,

Tinman motion is much better.

we just need to shave some off the Winkies at the end.

PF_Mark
Ok shaved off
PF_Mark
Just for my own records this scene is now approved and done biggrin.gif
PF_Mark
Ok lighting tests before I render this to targa files
PF_Mark
Repositioned sun and added another light
robcat2075
I think that will work well
