As we enter the next phase of chronicling the making of 'Tin Woodman of Oz' via the TWO wiki I'll try to capture a few of the updates here and invite those not already involved to contribute, critique or just take a look.

This weeks update mostly consists of working a better navigation system into the Image Gallery. The images are mostly random but will become more organized with time.

Here are a few of the most recent updates:

Most definitely.
Every time someone posts an image... an animation... a lighting test... a WIP.
This is what success looks like folks. TWO is really inspiring stuff.

I hope everyone takes a moment from time to time to realize the contributions they've made (and continue to make) have really made the difference.

Hopefully we can capture a little of the experience and share that with others.

Here is an example of how the wiki can be used in an educational and historical way at the same time.
Below is the wiki page appropriated for use here in the forum.

The Farmhands page still needs to be polished a bit with credits attributed but the 'learning/historical part' is facilitated by links/images bringing the reader back here to the forum where The Farmhands were originally created. All in all I think the capablity shows promise.

Michael,
Thank you much.

In this case I will defer 'da man' status to Jeffrey (Zayrin) Bolle, David (Chairoscuro) Walker and all those that assisted in the creation of the Farmhands. I noticed Robert (bob) Taylor approved the Skinny Farmhand on the day before Christmas, 2005 (very close to 2 years ago!). Bob also did the initial character sketches.

Jeff completed 'Skinny' on the 24th of December while David carried the quality modeling tradition forward into the new year. It wasn't long thereafter that we were officially introduced to our rather rotund winkie friend.

Other luminaries contributing to the farmhands creation in various ways (from making suggestions, offering critiques and supporting the effort through feedback). David Higgins, Jim Talbot, Nancy Gormezano and some guy named Kamikaze I see were all there. (Kamikaze... Now who would name their kid that?!) wink.gif

Of course other TWO regulars are well represented in the Farmhands creation too and no slight is intended here. My typing finger is getting tired. This is just the longwinded way of acknowledging the time, talent and attention that obviously went into these TWO characters.

Think of the similar attention to detail that went into other aspects of TWO and its easy to see there is a whole lot more wiki-ing left to be done.

I ran across the attached while sorting through old files.
It was my attempt to make an anagram out of the TWO logo.
I started to create it in 3D in A:M but the attempt never went anywhere.

Look at it sideways... upside down... oooo... anagram.
It had potential I tell ya!

The themes were 'chocolate' and 'white chocolate'... Hershey's chocolate... the official TWO candy.
Just in time for the holidays. tongue.gif
