Here is an example of the general format for what I hope to have listed for contributors in the wiki. Obviously not all of us can have a bio like Martin Hash but telling others a little about ourselves is part of the process of being an artist or animator.
Missing from Martin's page are references to the specific roles he had in creating TWO. These type of links are what will make the TWO wiki a really fun, educational and interactive experience. Look for such additions in the future. They are on my TO DO list.
These wiki profile pages are above and beyond the credits of course and as such have a bit lower priority. The information is still (I think) just as important.
The image on display might default to link to the individuals forum avatar (as is Martin's below), a personal photo or caricature, or a character the individual might be associated with from TWO. Everyone is free to change the image to any image they prefer of course.
Martin Hash
Name: Martin Hash
Location: Vancouver, WA (USA)
Profile Webpage BackgroundBefore starting Hash Enterprises, Martin was part of the core software team responsible for the "DeskJet" printer at Hewlett-Packard. He left HP to pursue his dream of creating 3D character animation using affordable personal computers. He developed Animation:Apprentice, a 3D modeling, animation, and rendering package for the Amiga that was the first commercial software to use non-linear animation techniques. He then went on to develop a new spline-mesh modeling and animation system for Animation:Journeyman. This core technology is still used as the basis for Animation:Master. In 2000, Martin was named one of the "15 Top CG Pioneers" by Animation Magazine. Martin is responsible for the core modeling, animation, and rendering technologies used in Animation:Master. His life-long interest in animation, comic books, and science fiction provided the motivation to create 3D animation tools for artists.
