Our A:M community feature length movie production, "Tin Woodman of Oz" (TWO), is wrapping up and we're ready to roll credits. If you contributed to TWO is any manner - offered story ideas, made a production sketch, rendered a frame - please email me your name and what you did. No part is too small...

If your listed in the TWO wiki for a contribution ,does one still need to email you?

No, we got ya.

It was brought to my attention the credits listed in the wiki aren't accurate. (Thanks Steve!)

This is a true statement. The wiki credits have never been completely accurate.

As TWO credits get firmed up I'll do my personal best to add them to the wiki. But... no one knows what you've done more than you do!

If you visit the wiki and see something amiss or misplaced please feel free to drop me a note or just take a moment and edit the wiki itself. Its really easy.

We'll get that TWO wiki updated yet! smile.gif

Even if incomplete, that is a pretty impressive list!

In the old wiki the Bio page for each person linked back to the individuals forum profile.
Unless someone objects I'll probably pursue that strategy again. Then as long as everyone keeps their forum profile up to date anyone with an interest can find out more and view your contact information. In this way, the contributors can better control the information others will read about them.

Finding the wiki itself is still a little problematic.
One almost has to stumble upon it these days.
We'll work on that.

As we near the release of TWO and the wiki gets all in order with accurate information hopefully we'll get it linked in a few strategic locations. I'm sure Will Pickering can help us there.

Greg Schumsky Hippogyraf

I was wondering who was the voice of Hippogyraf.
If I had read the wiki credits I would have known. wink.gif

TWO has some great voice talent.
Rodney
Here is an example of the general format for what I hope to have listed for contributors in the wiki. Obviously not all of us can have a bio like Martin Hash but telling others a little about ourselves is part of the process of being an artist or animator.

Missing from Martin's page are references to the specific roles he had in creating TWO. These type of links are what will make the TWO wiki a really fun, educational and interactive experience. Look for such additions in the future. They are on my TO DO list.

These wiki profile pages are above and beyond the credits of course and as such have a bit lower priority. The information is still (I think) just as important.

The image on display might default to link to the individuals forum avatar (as is Martin's below), a personal photo or caricature, or a character the individual might be associated with from TWO. Everyone is free to change the image to any image they prefer of course.

Background
Before starting Hash Enterprises, Martin was part of the core software team responsible for the "DeskJet" printer at Hewlett-Packard. He left HP to pursue his dream of creating 3D character animation using affordable personal computers. He developed Animation:Apprentice, a 3D modeling, animation, and rendering package for the Amiga that was the first commercial software to use non-linear animation techniques. He then went on to develop a new spline-mesh modeling and animation system for Animation:Journeyman. This core technology is still used as the basis for Animation:Master. In 2000, Martin was named one of the "15 Top CG Pioneers" by Animation Magazine. Martin is responsible for the core modeling, animation, and rendering technologies used in Animation:Master. His life-long interest in animation, comic books, and science fiction provided the motivation to create 3D animation tools for artists.

Do I get added if I added frustration to the project? All of my cloth sims were terrible and never worked out. I'm still mad that I couldn't get those finished.

I'm not qualified to make such determinations but... that's what Technical Directors do... test out the possibilities. smile.gif
