Can someone remind me how the subscription works. If I buy now will the subscription only last until the end of the year.
I have tried to contact the help desk about this (~2 weeks ago), but got no response. Not sure if that is a bad sign or not.

A:M v15 is in alpha now. That means, that in some weeks there should be a new cd out which (very likeley) will have A:M v14 on it and will give you the possibility to update to A:M v15 without aditional costs. this is the way it was handled... There can of course be changes to that in future-releases, but I am quite sure Hash would tell us about that before the new CD is out.
The CD you buy now is for v14.0 and follwing v14.0 (a-z(?)) releases.

Its like a magazine subscription, only instead of getting a magazine with a CD every month for a year, you get updates and bug fixes for a year. With most software I've used, I get bug fixes once every few years when a new update rolls out, and if a particular bug wasn't addressed, I just have to deal with it. With Hash, I get bug fixes once, sometimes twice, a month.
Yearly "renewels" are only $99/year.
So, say you order in July of 2007.
According to the current system, your subscription is current until Jan-feb of 2008.
If you order in March of 2007, your subscription is current until Jan-feb of 2008.
If you order in Dec of 2007, your subscription is current until Jan-feb of 2008.
So I tend to renew my subscription in the first half of the new year.
The renewal cycle is based on the calendar year and has nothing to do with when you bought the software.

i updated only a week or so ago from v10.5 -11.1
i did it mainly coz i couldn't find my cd - i stupidly misplaced it.. but i had the TAOA:M nearby with my serial..
