Great ...these clips from TWO are amazing
NancyGormezano
Fabulous!
Dhar
GET OUT! That is incredible!

In which version is that done?
LeeAnderson
All of these outdoor sets are great, but this effect makes this set something really special!
KenH
Fabulous. The only thing I'd like to see is the water glistening in the sun.
mtpeak2
Thanks everybody.

I'll see what I can do Ken.

Dhar, it was done in v14c.
Kamikaze
Was that done with the new water ,fluid, liquid feature for v15?
Super !either way,
mtpeak2
New update.

Mike, it uses an animated material in v14c.

Dhar
I'm drooling and my drool doesn't look that real!

Fantabulous stuff.

Very cool!

Now that's what I'm talking about. Let me know when you're done on that set and I'll add some fish and lillies in there....or if you want to...they're in the miscellaneous folder in Props.

And duckies - don't forget the duckies, and penguins and dolphins and giraffes...ok so forget the giraffes...

Looks luvley.
mtpeak2
I still have to add water spray for the falls (seen in a couple of scenes).

Ken, A few lillies here and there, maybe, but the fish, for the most part, won't be seen. The camera angles are fairly low and between the reflections and specular on the water, you probably won't be able to see the fish at all, a waste of time IMO. The renders I'm posting are not of the full set, they do not have the assembly actions for the props in the scenes.

And a platapus...

The water looks great! Just want to jump in and splash around.... laugh.gif

This is looking fantastic so far. I did notice some pixelation, but I assume that's from the compression.

Terrific water, Mark! smile.gif
The river bank looks too regular though, like curbstones. Are there enough splines in there to tweak it or will there be some plants to break it up a little? Perhaps the camera will never show the uniformity, in which case it wouldn't matter.
Very cool...and refreshing. smile.gif

Thanks again.

Added the spray for the falls.

NancyGormezano
hee hee - you're killing me. Terrific!
mtpeak2
What's the matter Nancy, not good enough? wink.gif
martin
That will definitely add the drama we need to end that shot.

I hope you were kidding - It's absolutely more than good enough. I especially like the way the water sparkles/reflects the spray

However if one were so inclined (and had the time) - it might have just a touch more pizazz if some birds were flying around in the mist (like swallow types).

I know, it's very dangerous to open one's mouth - 'cause I can guess what the next comment might be.
mtpeak2
You got it Nancy, I only animate materials. biggrin.gif

Oh, and yes I was kidding. Though, you and Martin seem to be the only ones that like it.
Zaryin
Well, I for one think it's awesomely fantasticly cool. It looks great. I wish you had some sound in there right now just to get more from it. Visually it's great!
mtpeak2
Sorry Jeff, I'm not the sound guy either. tongue.gif
Dhar
I'm not saying much because I'm speechless. This is the kind of stuff that make history. Sweet work man.

I have to chime in here along with everyone else. On top of the rig for the characters, this spray effect looks absolutely awesome Mark!!!

Fantastic job!!
