Robert,

I was only able to do 3 stills over the weekend but I'm posting anyway to show you what I got. I needed something for the autograph shot so I made a book and some pencils.

I also incorporated a still of what happens after Holmes's shot. I did notice that after turning on the sets and rendering, the shot is obscured a bit by the background. I committed everything to the svn.

Here's the shot with the 3 still poses.

OK Robert,

I did 5 stills.

The first 3 are the same as the last post. I added a still of Scarecrow talking to the press farm hand with Woot looking on. The last shot was a lot of work but I got it done. It's Tin man shaking hands as the winkies are anxiously waiting for their turn. I didn't do the departing shot because I know you have someone else working on the "still to animation" sequence that follows mine. Once the poses for that first frame are done, I'll add it to the end of this shot.

I also added a skin color slider to my modified winkie. They all looked too much alike so I wanted the variation to break it up.

Here's the shot

Thanks guys!!!

OK Robert I'll get back on this tonight. I took yesterday off on account of it being my 44th birthday but I'll try to get these changes done over the weekend. My families got a party planned on Saturday though.
Jeetman
Updated with Robert's changes.

Hey George, those look good! I don't think we need to change them.

I'll look for a new shot for you.

thanks!

BTW, notice how the environment map is not being properly reflected in the tin castle in the 2nd image.
PF_Mark
Robert are these the final shot you want used in the paper?
robcat2075
Yes. I guess I need to make one for the end of the shot that leads into this and one for the beginning of the shot that follows this also.
PF_Mark
Ok other than the frame burn how does this look? Should I put another light to show scare crow more?
robcat2075
The sky needs to be darker. Look in the props for the skydome and see if there's a pertinent setting

Increase the intensity of the light to try to get more SC. TM can be a bit over exposed.
PF_Mark
Still looking for a way to turn down the sky? But what am I going to do about SC hat the dynamics are going crazy and Rabbits fur is IMHO over done?
robcat2075
I think lengthening the falloff distance of the Kleig light will brighten the SC up a bit. The light can probably be even brighter itself.
PF_Mark
The Rabbit just said beam me up Scooty biggrin.gif
PF_Mark
Ok I think I got it
PF_Mark
Ok evertime SC hat is different
PF_Mark
Ok hat fixed

Ok I committed the tga file in SVN sc02_01_68/movies called 2_01_68_P-V10-125 can you fix that up and I will use that then
PF_Mark
ok how is this?
PF_Mark
More light on feet and 25% more light
robcat2075
try extending the falloff on the light so we see more bridge. It' sok if the Tinman is blown out as long as we can still see the details of his expression.

1st is fallout farther and light brighter 25% the nest is fallout farther and the 3rd is even farther.
robcat2075
I'm talking severe flash effect. cool.gif

I did a quick levels adjustment on #1. Use this for now. Note how the change makes it clear the scarecrow is in the air. We had to get his legs illuminated enough so that they are distinct from the dark background.

Ok something to start from I having trouble with the lighting? it's not rendering right? I tried deleting the ground but same results.
PF_Mark
ok
PF_Mark
Ok modified the camera motions
PF_Mark
Ok next I am going to join Sc65 to this SC66 to show I have 1st pose close to what we want but till then take a look at this biggrin.gif
PF_Mark
Ok joined Sc 65 and Sc66 to show I have Tinman framed right for next affect sound needs adjusting though unsure.gif
robcat2075
UPdate your SC66 folder. I put a revised Newspaper with more rectangular lead photo up. Give it a try and if we like it we'll figure out how to fill the new whitespace.

thanks!
PF_Mark
Ok here it is

Things I still need to do is later pictures in news paper to Black and White and put in final rendered targas in animated sequence I E-mailed Martin and requested SC68 final rendering be done.
robcat2075
Update to get TWO_newspaper_prototype_5.tga.

Now with additional justified text and 20% more alliteration!
PF_Mark
Ok I am making the final targa files for the animated sequence and david is working on the affect for pictures so here is the new paper with changes done to camera from our last conversation
robcat2075
That looks good!
PF_Mark
ok
PF_Mark
This is with a last poses altered. It's not framed just right I have to adjust the bottom a little but this gives us an idea of what it will look like. I increase hte fade out time to 24 frames now as well.
PF_Mark
Ok I got the start pose of rabbit to match now but to do this I had to adjust the start time of the animated sequence to do that but now the motion starts later and is not time with Woot singinig so we need to slide the timing around to fix or better yet Robert lets skype talk about this.
PF_Mark
ok this is rigth timing
Jeetman
It looks excellent Mark. Only one observation....When the still turns to action, the way the winkies look like they're falling forward doesn't look right to me. I think the motion should be more subtle.

Keep up the great work!!!!

George
PF_Mark
I will look closer at that thanks George

Robert this is the file I tested it it works can you darken the sky for me please

Robert can you do a test render of this to confirm I committed ever file I need please. have to update first maybe during a dinner break wink.gif
PF_Mark
ok altered camera holds. Now I see some kinda artifact doting across screen? Robert see if your test render show this?
robcat2075
Mark, When I update I don't get a recent chor for the newspaper animation. The most recent chor I get in that folder is from 3/27.
