How does one insert sound into the animation master timeline?
Caroline
Welcome to the forums, stingslang!

To import a sound, on the left hand side you have the Project Workspace (or PWS). You should have sections marked for Images, Sounds, Materials etc. Right click the Sounds section, and then click Import Sound. Then find your sound in the WAV format.

This is the link to the manual:

You can use the freeware program Audacity to convert sound formats.

You should just be able to drag the sound from the Sounds folder to the Action or Choreography.

is this how you do it in version 13? how about in 11?
Dhar
That should be the same.

If you really want to see your sound in the timeline, you should import the sound (like described above), make a new action and drag and drop the sound on the action.
Thats the best way. I think it is possible to drag and drop it on choreography too, but I never tried that.

Yes. You can drag-and-drop sound files in chor window.

YOU CAN ALSO LAYER SOUNDS ON TOP OF EACH OTHER.
SAY FOR AN OUTSIDE SCENE WITH LOTS OF THINGS GOING ON.
