I did a test to see how the new fluids would perform, and I must say that they are doing very well. No particles floated away, and none of them fell through the geometry.

Here's a fluid render in wireframe from the side:

Here's the same fluid but now rendered in quick render to show the geometry:

Can you post that project so I can learn/play with it?

The project file is really simple. All I did was use the default fluid settings. I would recommend that you try to create a fluid simulation first, and then, if you are having any troubles, let me know.

I also made a different render. I wanted to see how the fluids would act in something like a blender. The first test had thick blades, and forced the fluid to stay in the center:

I took out half of the blades, made them thinner and sloped, and increased the particle count. This one ended up having 24,000 fluid particles. I slowed the blade rotation and gravity by a factor of 10 to increase the accuracy:

I tried to use NLE to increase the speed, but it did not include the other frames when I was using multipass and motion blur; I was trying to blend those ten frames together in one frame to make it look like it was in motion.

Right now, the fluids have a consistency of creamed corn.

But it's still very awesome looking.

I have been playing with it.. I thought that was why you said "No particles floated away" as I posted the thread about my fluid floating away. I wanted to see if you were doing something that I wasn't, or if I was doing something stupid that I shouldn't be, as I did fiddle with the default settings, but nothing that should have caused the "water" to float away.

Make sure to download the newest version of 15 Alpha.

Here's a render of some fluid up close coming out of a pipe.

Gotcha, I will update and give it a go with my current project.

I felt like trying a little fluid test too. Not earth shattering, but here it is anyway.
