3DPainter
Hi All,

There's a new update available for 3DPainter/A:M Paint.

Fixes:
  • Fixed problem with loading files that contain Darktree materials (due to non-conform XML tags created by Darktree materials)
  • Fixed some memory leaks
  • Fixed redraw problem in tool panels

For download, go to http://www.3dpainter.com/downloads.php
(the password for the download section can be found in your order confirmation mail or, if you already have a previous version of 3DPainter, in the user manual.)

Make sure you also copy the plugin to the 'hxt' folder!

Hi,

This is very weird... because I know I have gone through this same dilemma before. And, LOL, I seem to remember feeling stupid last time I went through this...

I updated -- downloaded 3DPainterSetup_1_5_2.exe and after I installed this I went to C:\Program Files\3DPainter\Plugin to move the hxt file to the plug-ins folder and there I saw the following files:

3DPainterPlugin_12.hxt
3DPainterPlugin_13.hxt

I see nothing specifically for V14 and yet I see the file 3DPainterPlugin_14.hxt (with an older date) already in the plug-in folder... am I going nuts LOL? I know there's a V14 plug-in file (or I think there is and an old one seems to be there) but... where is it?

Thanks,
Rusty

Hi Rusty,

I think you're looking in the directory of an (uninstalled) old version of 3DPainter.

You can find the plugin at:
C:\Program Files\Pixosaur\3DPainter\Plugin

Best regards,
Filip

Yes, you'll find it in the Pixosaur folder, not the 3DPaint folder in your Program Files.
