I am experiencing erratic behaviour from dynamic chains in A:M 14b.
Erratic behaviour seems to be introduced with more passes.

Check out the dynamics on the ears: Click to view attachment

I have reported this to A:M Reports.

That's weird, but I kinda like it on this bunny from hell tongue.gif

Please tell me your gonna do a short with this guy!

Can't wait to see more.
Paul Forwood
No short planned for this guy. The model is for the Hardcore Modelling Challenge on CG Talk: HMC #11
The character is one of the simpler, and more amusing, concepts to choose from and I thought that there is no point in attempting to compete against any Zbrush artists so this guy is perfect. He was designed by Bobby Chiu.

I might just do a very short animation for Halloween but at the moment the model and rigging is a total mess. I will probably abandon this version and start a new one but I'm really looking forward to using A:M liquids for his drool and A:M hair for his peach fuzz. smile.gif
I had better check to see if dynamics are working in A:M15? mellow.gif

Paul, when using dynamics in multipass--set dynamics error tolerance to 0 (chor properties), and simulate spring systems first.

Thanks, Will. smile.gif
Very useful!
I just had this back from A:M Reports: "bake your dynamics before rendering with Multipass-". I guess that is the same thing as running the simulate systems command? huh.gif

Edit: Yep. Simulate Spring Systems before rendering did the trick.
I forgot to set error tolerance to 0 though. What effect does this have?
Thanks! smile.gif
