the settings i used were, Ambiance Occlusions on, sampling 30%, Ambiance intensity 100%, Ambiance Occlusions 100%. and then i played around with the exposure and Azimuth. but i still couldn't get it to work.

What kind of map projection are you using, and what kind of projection did you set in the calculations? Could you post your Image Based Lighting settings?

that was for the first one, the other ones i don't remember. oh and i also had a .hdr image in there, i just didn't put it in when i took the pic, oh yea, and ambiance occlusions were one, with the sampling set to 30%

EDIT: and when i rendered the images, the ambiance occlusions were set to 100. i forgot to put them to it in this pic.

what version of A:M are you using?

In the latest version they Fixed all IBL mapping types are not producing the same IBL spherical
harmonics basis and shading similarly.

Set exposure to 0.

This is what the different maps look like:

ohh, i think i know what i did wrong, i think i was using a longitude latitude map with the settings of a sphere map.

EDIT: nvm, it didn't work. still got some thing similar to the other images.
