hi,

Every once in awhile the Font Wizard (or AI wizard) creates some improper splines when closing the fronts of some letters or objects and these show up as display/render anomalies. It's a quick and easy fix and I thought a video tutorial may help new users. (Quicktime using H.264 compression).

That's very clear. Thanks!

What software are you using for the screen recording? I'm planning to make some video tutorials myself, so any advise would be very welcome.

Hi Luuk,

I thought $300 for Camtasia was too high, so I bought Deskshare's My Screen Recorder 2.6 for $40. It works fine and if you leave it on the default setting you will get a very clear and usable recording without having to fiddle with the settings. It uses Microsoft Video by default so I take the AVI file it makes and open it in Quicktime, then export it as Quicktime H.264 with mono sound. This brings the file size down, makes it more more universally playable, and doesn't noticably affect the quality.

It's been a very handy thing to have, especially for helping to remember concepts in A:M. smile.gif
