Ok I swear I have seen a post or something that had to do with blending Materials, I have a model with differing materials on adjacent sp? patches ,Now I want to blend them somehow for a more seamless look. Can you point me in the right direction, and I will keep looking myself too.

You can do it, with the gradient material. Build the two materials into a gradient material. I posted an example project, and image.
This is a simple example, but for more complex projects, you can build individually positioned instances of the material in your model, until you are satisfied. (By default the materials will bend and stretch with your animated model once positioned.)
