Hello,
Here is a first take of this scene. I do not know how to do the glistening magic that should follow the wand at the critical moment - suggestions are appreciated.

It looks like there are too many keyframes in Ozmas wand arm. For the wand effect one is located here on svn. It might give you an idea:

PS You should co-ordinate with others as to which direction SC is facing. I think yours is different to a couple of others where he's facing Ozma. Same for the wand effect.

Hi Ulrika. This looks like a great start. It looks like you want her wrist moving in a circle a couple times? Maybe that could be made smoother by just doing 2 or 3 keyframes and cutting and pasting them to repeat it.

Hi,
There is still some work to do but I post this not to go wrong somewhere when there is little time left. The magic is still missing and I have to empty Scarecrow later this weekend.

A couple of weeks ago, I added some poses to SB which flatten his body. I added them to this chor but they don't seem to be in your animation. Maybe you didn't update it in that time? If so, then you may get a conflict.....be sure to have him (and scarecrow) flat before finalization!

On the animation, Tingirls eyes seem to be moving strangely but it might be the realtime display. Also, I think Ozma could use more of an anticipation for the magic wave.....which would be done by moving her right arm up further and maybe hold for longer. The rest is real good.

Hi,
I found the poses in the scene, I did not know they were there. So now Strawbear and Scarecrow are really flat. I still have a problem with the wand effect, I do not know how to do it, the wand effect is in the scene but I can not see anything of it, so any help is needed and appreciated.

Ask Caroline how she did 03-05-15, it was cool.

This looks really good!!!

I'm not sure if this would be too much work but the effect would be cool. Instead of having straw bear just vanish and having unstuffed Scarecrow lying there, have him sorta morph back into scarecrow by scaling straw bear up to his general size and setting straw bear's transparency to cause him to fade out. Set Scarecrow's transparency to 100 at start and have him fade in as straw bear fades out. This all happens very fast (maybe 3 or 4 frames) but I think the effect might look cool.

Edit:

Sorry to have to tell you this.

I just realized that this shot is 2 shots before mine (I'm working on 3_05_09). Your shot doesn't line up with the following shot (3_05_08). Scarecrow in that shot is lying on the dirt road and the person who worked on that shot has Scarecrow not able to move because of not having enough straw. in this shot you have him sitting up. You should update the previous shot and look at it. I'm doing the 3_05_09 shot based on that shot. If you look at my rough draft, you'll see scarecrow with his arms outstretched lying almost perpendicular in the road.

Hello,
I finally found the wand effect, with a little more experience I should have found it long ago, but better late than never. Thanks for pointing out that I should change SC, no problem to do that, just had to be done. I hope this is more like it should be.

That wand effect looks terrific, well worth the wait!

I like most of it but the transition from Strawbear to Scarecrow needs work frame 3:17 there is nothing there! I like Jeetmans idea of a really fast fade also GM's jump back is a little slow. All in all a really good job !!!
Ullis
Hi,
Thank you for commenting, I have tried to make changes after your advices, a transition between the changes and a faster jump. Maybe it can be even better? What do you think?

Nice work getting that transition! I wonder if it would look better a little slower? I like Monkey's jump back, too.
Ullis
Hi,
I have tried to improve the transition, and so I got carried away and did some more to the scene when SC wakes up, I hope it is not too much - he is still flat and inmovable on the ground.
