I hope it is not too late but I think Nimmie's wrist needs a little tweaking. I don't believe there are any scenes that will be affected by tweaking her wrist, but I thought I just mention it.

I'm not sure what I'm looking at, Dhar....which part are you thinking? The band around the wrist could probably use an adjustment to squish a little. My head probably isn't working too good at the moment (not unusual). Are you talking about the poofy part of the sleeve?

That would be a pretty extreme backward bend of the hand though...mine won't bend that far.

Sorry David, I didn't have a good angle. Maybe this one will illustrate it better?

Those both look painful, what are you trying to do?

Women, in general, have more flexibility than men. I notice some women, while they speak, put a hand on their hip in that matter. I have also observed this particular way of leaning on a table. And that's what I was trying to accomplish.

Maybe I should find a better camera angle than expect a model to do everything??? I don't know.

I know this pose needs lots of work (Robert would do a much better job), but, hopefully it will show that Nimmie is capable of what you're after, Dhar...which is the only intent. She does have some extra long forearms, so it will take some working around that.

Hey Dhar,

Instead of having the thumb pointing down. Try pointing it back so that she's resting the hand on her hip as if she's holding a can. That should look more natural and hide the bad part of the model. Shouldn't change the pose effect either.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll find a way around smile.gif

If this is still going to be a problem, I'll take care of it.

I'm not sure where this stands at the moment, Mark. I know that the thumbs may need some weighting adjustment. I'm sure there are some places that could be tweaked, but I'm not sure what to think about the wrist. If you have some time to look it over, I would really appreciate it.

If a character is doing an awkward arm pose like that I think they need to have a lot of weight on that arm and show it in their posture and balance. I think David's pose is a move in the right direction.

Interesting problem, but I think the rig is up to it. If it's a matter of the wrist not deforming "right" for that one peculiar pose, you could smartskin the CPs in that one spot.
