I was just wondering if there's going to be any problem with running A:M with 10.5 when it comes out in October?

Now that Leopard is confirmed to be released on October 26th, I'd also like to know the answer to this question, as well as the flipside: will future updates to A:M for Macs require running Leopard?

Is there an answer yet on whether A:M v14-15 have issues with Leopard? I was considering buying Leopard yesterday, but if it won't do A:M, I'll have to hold off.

I don't know about v14 -- I wait for the second half of the alphabet on A:M updates, always, now -- but whatever the last version of 13 is works just great under Leopard here. I'm on Intel, though, so if you're not YMMV.

That's great to hear! I'm thinking about updating my Macbook first and hold off for a little while on my iMac.

Exactly what I'm going to do.

I'm a little bummed about losing Classic in Leopard, because of some old games. Maybe I'll have to get an old CRT iMac or something for that...

Anyway, great news, I'll probably upgrade in the next week.

You can run classic on Intel with SheepShaver. The great thing is, Intel Macs are so much faster than the fastest PPC Macs that, even with the overhead for emulation, it's still probably the fastest OS 9 ever ran.

OK, I bit the bullet and upgraded to Leopard. I can empirically say that AM 14.0c will launch! I could even lay down some CP and splines. That is as far as I got.

My PowerBook G4 is having weird problems with A:M v14.0c under Leopard. For some reason I cannot select things. It doesn't seem to follow any logic though. Sometimes I can't select a model in the Choreography window, sometimes I can. Sometimes I can't select in the project tree sometimes I can. Frustratingly, sometimes when I render and select the chooser window to change the name or directory to render to, the whole thing locks up. I get an annoying "boop" when I click on anything. All I can do at that point is to Force Quit the whole thing.

I loaded that latest updates today from Apple but still no joy. I haven't tried v13 yet -maybe I'll give it a whirl.

I finally upgraded my iMac to Leopard on Thursday. I'd been running it on my Macbook for about 2 weeks and it seemed to be fine, even if I wasn't doing anything too heavy duty with it.

I used A:M pretty heavily yesterday and it mostly worked fine. The only issue I ran into was the second one you mentioned... I went to do a render and the Save As dialogue box behaved exactly as you described. I did Force Quit, but I haven't encountered it again while doing the few renders I saved. I've also noticed that Leopard seems to be slow in letting you select things in a dialogue box. While doing an Import, I sometimes have to wait for the file I want to import to become clickable.

I'm getting that "Trial Software Has Expired" message box if I try to open v15. EDIT: I reinstalled v15 and now I don't get that error.
