My latest update to AVG free (anti-virus) showed a 'Trojan horse Downloader.Generic5.JVC' detected.

Can anyone else verify that it's on the original? After some investigation, I believe that this is most likely a false poistive. sad.gif

Just an FYI for anyone else using AVG free and getting this detection message, you can read more on AVG free false positives here.

Downloader.Generic5.JVC doesn't come up when I search the 3DPainter folder.

Ken,

It's detected as being in the installer itself, not part of the software. Specifically it was reported that "3DPainterSetup_1_5_0.exe" was infected.

This is a false positive in a certain version of the AVG virus signatures. If you update to the latest virus signature update, this should be fixed.
