Since there was some talk about having our own 10 second competition, how about we use this thread as a testing ground? smile.gif

Here is a short sound clip to animate to. You can use any character, in any setting, how ever long or short, simple or complex, one or more characters as you like. The only 2 rules are: you use Animation Master, and that your movie is finished no later than July 31st.

If your movie file is smaller than 2mb then you can post it here, or, you can post it on YouTube (or any other website) and provide the link here.

This is open to everybody, regardless of experience level.

Have at it biggrin.gif

do you want a version without the music starting up at the end? I silenced it. It sounds cleaner to me. I can also silence that background noise between the words but it may make the final sound a bit unnatural because it still will be behind the words.
Dhar
Steve, yes it is from Mel Brook's The Producers (the newer version). "Springtime for Hitler" would be a major undertaking far beyond the scope of this test. But you're welcome to have a go at it wink.gif

Paul; by all means, clean it up any which way you want and you may even want to share the cleaned up version for others to use if they're interested. The important part is that the actor's voice stays in tact so that we can clearly see how you approach it with your animation.

Thanks for showing an interest. I hope to see some wip soon. This isn't very long and shouldn't take that much effort to get started smile.gif

I don't know why but thought I'd ask if anyone else was having issues...
I get
Invalid sound file [ C:\Documents and Settings\Toby Kamp\Desktop\Lord_Lord.wav ], Unsupported file type
when I try to load the sound file even though the file plays fine in media player.

Anyone?
Dhar
I'll look into it tonight.

So did I with the new RC2 download as well.
Dhar
OK folks; sorry about that, it has nothing to do with Animation Master. I updated the file in the first post. Please delete the old one that you downloaded.

Apparently I recorded the sound file on one computer, but when I open it in another computer A:M doesn't recognize it so I had to open the file in Audacity and export it again on the same computer and that seems to work.

Let me know smile.gif

No problem importing it now. Came into 14 RC2 fine. Thanks Dhar.
BrainLock
here it is without the music starting up at the end.

Thank you Paul. I also deleted the music tail in the updated version.

All is good now! Let's animate biggrin.gif
