When i do the copy flip attach, this is what my face turns out to be like. Why is the splinage jumping all around the place?

I'm not too good at explaining this, but I believe the cp's I have pointed out with the arrows are connected as one spline both on the top and the bottom. You need to make sure they are not a continuous spline looping back into the face, but rather ending on the center line. You can check this by clicking just to the left of any of the highlighted cp's to select, and then tracing the spline by hitting "shift" + "}". This will make the selection jump to the next cp in the spline as you keep hitting "shift"+"}". If the selection jumps from the top most spline down to the one below it, you've got a loop back. These need to be broken by hitting "k", and then you need to make sure they end on the center line and don't loop back. Maybe a better way to say this is to make sure the spline running down the center is a continuous spline. Select one cp of the center spline by clicking just slightly above or below it. Once selected, hit the "," key to select all cp's on that spline. You should now have all the cp's down the center of your model. If not, you need to delete the center splines and make sure you turn it into just one spline. God I am bad at explaining this. Hope you can make sense of this.

Thanks a lot, that makes perfect sense. I shall try it out when I get a chance.
