I'm trying to finish my way overdue sequence. I need to adjust TINWOODMAN's eyes and I want to use the eyebone. I went to the shortcut to tin and showed drivers and went to click on the hide icon to unhide it. It worked but when I tried to scrub to the frame I'm working from, the bone disappeared and now I can't get it to show. When I click on the hide icon all it does is creates an asterisk but does not show the bone. What's going on? Is this something that I can correct?

George,
The bone should just point at the Master Eye target.
Find that, turn it on and move it as needed.

Unless there is a specific reason to move the bone that is.
I think thats one of the reasons its hidden. It tracks the Master Eye Target Null.

That was my next thing I tried. I tried to turn the master eye target on in the properties but the same thing happen. It creates an asterisk next to the "off" but doesn't turn it on. I figured my model may have gotten corrupt so I did a revert and it's still doing the same thing. I'm at a loss here. If you could help me figure this out I'd really appreciate it.

If you haven't closed down and restarted A:M definitely do that.
Odd behavior going on.
Its possible that the driver got set to 'Constant' and that is interfering... but eeek... not sure.

When I said that it creates an asterisk I made a mistake. It's not created in the properties area when I try to turn on the master eye target. What happens is I click on off to turn it on but it doesn't change to on. It still says off but in the key creation, it does have it set. It creates on OFF and an ON in that order but it only does this once. If I move the timeling slider and try to click the "show master eye target in the properties, it does not create a key.

Now if the "ON" that it shows actually turn the master eye target on then I could work with it but it's not. Although the key has "ON" as the last action, it is not showing the target in the choreography. I'm totally confused.

EDIT:

I found the problem. I created a separate choreography action for the facial poses. When I was trying to activate the eye bone I had the wrong choreography action activated (green check mark was on the 2nd choreography and I was adjusting the 1st. This caused the keys to be locked.

Turn on the face controls. You will now have a bone above tinmans head called "EyeAimerBone".
