This is just one control on each end. I've resisted putting a control in the middle of the accordian pleats for fine tuning the shape.

That looks good Robert but I Have one question. How do you control the middle section to compress and expand. I mean this as an animator I can not figure out how you did this with this model unless you grouped the middle section and scaled it?

Sorry, I forgot to save it with the constraints turned on. Update and it should work automatically.
