I had some eye motion setup in a choreography for Scarecrow yesterday, and it worked alright, but I later decided that I needed to change the location of the actor so in Choreography mode I clicked and dragged the whole model to a different location. The body motion was correctly preserved but the eye motion was lost. Any ideas?

I have reloaded this project today, hoping that it would be one of those A:M glitches that vanish after a reboot, but the problem persists.
If I grab the "EyeAimerBone", in the choreography window, and try to rotate it, it doesn't move though I can see that a key is generated in the timeline. The eyes don't change even when I hit the spacebar several times.

Do you have any other actions on SC that use the eye aimer bone?
Paul Forwood
No other actions that use the EyeAimerBone, Ken, and the choreography action is the lowest action in the PWS tree.

I found the problem and edited the title of this post to reflect that.

This appears to be a problem with action blending in A:M.

I have a choreography that has a lip synch action for Scarecrow and below that is the choreography action. The eye movement was done in the choreography action yet instead of replacing any motion for the EyeAimerBone in the lipsynch action the EyeAimerBone became inoperable. When I changed the action blend for both actions to "add" the EyeAimerBone became operable again and the eye motion became visible. It is strange that it all worked correctly until I opened this project the following day.

This seems wrong to me but maybe someone will tell me that this is the way it is meant to work. blink.gif

I'll report it
