I'm not sure if this is a bug or not...

If I select a regular geometry controlling bone, hit Compensate Mode Button, then Force Key Button (to reset it to its default values) the bone and its accompanying geometry do what I expect.

But if I do this with a null in the FACE rig, the NULL does go back to it's default state, but the geometry associated with it stays in its old position until I manually nudge the Null (which of course means it's not in it's default poition anymore).

I can work around this, I was just wondering why it is

I think that is a refresh thing. It should work if you hit the spacebar after.

I'm not sure, Robert. Have you tried the same thing using the underlying squetch nulls? If it does the same thing with those, then I would think it's something to do with nulls. If it doesn't do the same thing, I would think it's something to do with Smartskins since that is how the FACE controls move the pose sliders. Of course, it could be something different entirely...I'll do some experimenting tonight and see if I can narrow it down.

Or David might be right...maybe a refresh thing.

Well, it doesn't have a problem when testing on the underlying squetch nulls on my system, but it does need refreshing the screen on the FACE nulls. I'm thinking it's a refresh thing...it doesn't appear to be anything to do with Smartskins, it needs refreshing when I squetch the Tinman's ear bolts and there's no Smartskin there. I thought it might be something to do with the head, but, the jaw, Maxilla and LowerTeeth bones didn't have a problem.

So, I'm guessing a refresh thing.
