This is what poor ol' melted down Scarecrow might look like as a ScareBear after Yoop has her way with him.
Well.... only 5 real choices this time, with a choice of shiny or matte hat ?
Comments Welcome.

I know Mrs Yoop could change Scarecrow's hat as easily as she changes him but my preference would be to keep it the same.
Of course there is the other side of the spectrum and it could no longer even be a hat... something else... perhaps a propellor topped beany??
Nice pics Nancy!
Too many to choose from so I'll leave all that hard decisioning to you.
If I had to pick... yeah no surprise... I'd go with the last (brown on brown) one.
I'm so predictable.

I'm digging 3 and 7 the most. .but I'd lose the horzontal stripes on 3.. I think they'd moire and have a readbility issue with mid distance animations.
Cool stuff as usual.

Interesting comment Colin. Those are the same stripes as on Scarecrow's pants. It's done with a decal using repeats, not with a material. I haven't noticed any moire with it when I do final renders (no multi-pass) - A:M seems to do a beautiful job with anti-aliasing. Have you noticed any problem with the pattern on Scarecrow?

hmmm.. no I havn't noticed it on Scarecrow..
Maybe what made me think of a moire was the way the pattern seems so even accross the bear? Its like a material that passes straight through him instead of wrapping. Or maybe its that the bears size is smaller so maybe the material needs more repeat? which would probably cause a moire

.. I don't know.
The same thing happens when I look at Op-art from the 70's ;-) My brain stops working.

Well in any case as the poll is going it looks like it's going to be a red bear variation, so the purple stripe bear doesn't look like a likely winner.
Perhaps it was because of being rendered from the model window that it looked like there might be a problem.
Here are some renders from the chor that I did last night (done prior to a file corruption meltdown I noticed with all versions of Scarebear - that I have just reported to A:M reports)

Ahhh you see.. in the Coreography I like the purple stripe, it seems more 3d than before.

What?
Not much interest going on here. Tooo boring for ya? Toooo obvious? Tooo ho-hum? Not enough variation? Soooo awful? Can't bear to invoke my wrath? Can't stand my sad pitifulness? Hate cute widdle baby beanie bears ? Resistance is futile (probably) ?
Maybe I shoulda gone with the thigh high's, fishnets, lacey garter belt. Alas - missed opportunity once again.
Looks like one of the red versions wins.
Thanks Rodney (the propeller beanie is a great idea, love it - but I don't think modeling changes are in the cards) & thanks Colin for your comments.

How's that? My poll is showing a three way split. Or is your vote more heavily weighted?

ummm...I figured 6 red versus 3 brown - the red variations aren't very different from each other - just one is a bit busier than the other...I actually don't know which red version it should be...I go back & forth (and someone's got to be the tie-breaker).
Quick! Close the polls before the OWG's rally!!!

Great stuff Nancy!
Personally, I love the Red Fancy (I think it's red fancy). If you need a tie-breaker that would be my vote. I just want to give him a hug!

You know I was reallllly Hoping. I mean Yoop turns him into this right.. don't you think she'd be into a little humilation? sigh.. when we are done with TWO we need to go back and do the Rated R version. Then we can really cut loose.

Oh yeah. I thought one of them was purple. Red seems a suitable color for Yoop to turn SC into. She really doesn't like him.
