Apparently in A:M you can set up lights that not only shine objects, but the beam looks visible itself through tiny dust particles or fog. I really want to do that. How can you?

By the way, speaking of lighting, where on the internet can I find any useful lighting tutorials for A:M? My Google searches don't bring up anything. It's weird.

You'll want to make a new klieg (spotlight) and in it's properties window turn ON the volumetric setting...and then experimentexperimentexperiment...

As for your Google search, try taking out the words 'Animation Master' and just search for lighting tutorials, period. Anything you learn will apply in A:M.

Cool, thanks. smile.gif

Sorry to be dense, but how do you make a new klieg light?
Caroline
Right click in the choreography > New > Light

You get a Shortcut to Light1 in the PWS.

Right click Shortcut to Light1 > Select Cache (Light1)

You're now looking at the object Light1.

In the properties for Light1, change Type from Bulb to Klieg.
