I'm not getting a picture with that AVI. The sound comes through nice and clear but no picture at all.
I am using Media Player 11, all the latest drivers.

Is anyone else getting the same effect?

I had the same problem. Go here (http://www.techsmith.com/download/codecs.asp) and download the TSCC and it should play in media player.
For best results though, play it in Quicktime.

I've just been there and downloaded just about every codec going.
Thanks for the tips. I'll try changing file associations for QT and see if it works.

Edit: I didn't bother changing the file associations because it plays beautifully in Media Player now that I have the required codec.

This tech talk is awesome. It shows not only how to use the cloth sim but also some problems you might encounter and how to solve them. I'm having some trouble watching the whole video though. I just downloaded the techsmith and ensharpen codecs from the website mentioned above.

I can view the video up to about 17:50 then the video cuts out. In Windows Media player an error pops up at this point that says "invalid video format". In Quicktime, and WinAmp the video just closes with no error message.

The info I was able to watch was invaluable. Can someone help me to be able to watch the whole video?

Try right click 'save target as' then play the file after it is downloaded

Thanks for the reply Jason. I did download it to my computer, then tried playing it in WinAmp, Quicktime, and Irfanview. Same results in each player. I guess maybe the file got corrupted during the download. When I get a chance, I'll download it again.

Here's another cloth tutorial. Mucho Gracias to Rich Jackson for providing a 9 page discussion of cloth to the forums. I definitely use a lot of what he said there.

I can't download the AVI at the top. Is this one of those mirror problems? Is there a corrected URL for it?

Nothing there. Maybe someone could run it thru a more modern and common compressor. Is it on the Hash server?
