Well, well, well… so far this seems pretty darn cool! Don’t see anyway to paint materials but that’s easy enough anyway. Wish there was a way to apply (in a normal fashion) blank decals (know about the way it does this but not sure yet what its doing). Which it had all of the effects that DeepPaint had but again I can export these for use as a decal.
Forgot to check if bump maps (and all the others kinds of maps) can be developed in the program… that is, I think they can be developed but ‘can you see the effects of these maps in the program’ so you can develop them? The projection map stuff seems cool but at what cost and do I really care.
It really does everything I’d want except offer complex textures you can select and paint on (like DeepPaint) and perhaps its there and I just haven’t found it yet… but I don’t think so. I could create these textures but could 3DPaint paint them?
