IS THERE A WAY FOR A MODEL TO TAKE ON A POSE IN MODELING MODE?

The reason I need this is: 3DPainter can load A:M models in stand alone mode w/o the A:M CD being required, just a valid A:M installation is required. I'm trying to avoid buying a separate copy of A:M so an artist I just hired can decal my character using 3DPainter w/ Corel Painter. THE MODEL NEEDS TO TAKE ON A POSE OR TWO IN ORDER TO BE PROPERLY DECALED, HOWEVER...

Any helpful suggestions would be much appreciated! smile.gif

Steffen had a helper-plugin for his exploded-plugin, which could export a model from a action/chereo if I am not wrong... search for it at www.sgross.com.

I might have missed it, but I went thru the entire plug-in list at: http://www.sgross.com/plugins/index.html and didn't locate it... You wouldn't happen to know this plug-in name would you?

Hi Karl,

In A:M, you can export a model posed in an action by right-clicking on the action in the Project Workspace. This will then allow you to paint the posed model in 3DPainter.
