I'm working on a TWO sequence and I have hair strands blocking my view which is somewhat annoying hehe. Can some one please tell me how to turn the hair particles off? Scarecrows hay is going crazy.
This is not in render. Just the normal choreography view.
Thanks,
George

also in the hair settings you can lower the density shown in the modeling/choeography window, and it won't effect the render. i forgot what that was called, its in the main hair settings not the attrabute.

It's in the hair properties, under realtime:
Density Factor. Turn down this percentage and it will lower the density of what's drawn in the realtime view. I usually set it at about 10% when I'm animating. There is also a
Quality setting there that you can lower to speed up the realtime rendering.
It's
HERE in the Technical Reference.

I recommend to turn on the two toolbars which are not visible (-> Draws and Views or something like that).
You can do that by rightclicking for example next to the play/stop-controlls (anyhwhere at the toolbar where no button is).
I usual set them next to the play/stop-control because they doesnt hurt there. There are some useful things in there like showing normals, decals, hair, all the views(you can see in which you are) and which mode (shaded, etc.) you are and you can of course change that with a click anytime.
I know that you can do that by using your keyboard and I do most of the stuff with the keyboard, but it is a nice visualisation.
