I cant install.

Just did a download and install, no problems.
Maybe you should download the file again, in case
the file has been corrupted, and try to install it.

For the last two V13 releases, I keep getting an error stating that "MasterPrefs.ini not found". It won't save my preferences and I have to enter my serial number every time I start the program. I tried to create a file by that name, but it didn't work. I know it is used to store my personal preferences, but I don't understand why all of a sudden this is happening. I tried completely removing AM (using AppZapper) and re-installing, but I get the same problem.

I am running OS X 10.4.8 on an intel MacPro. Any ideas??

This is caused by a permissions problem on the Applications/Animation Master v13 folder make sure you 'own it' and can read/write to it-
Did you install as an admin, and are you running with the same account you installed with?
tom359
I don't know how that happened because I did install as Admin, but that fixed it...thanks for the quick reply!

When weighting the CP's, the drop down menu in the weight CP's section for changing the bone selection will go blank suddenly, and if I don't hit the X to exit the screen straight away. Then the program shuts down, this happens all the time, especially if I keep changing the CP weight numbers and apply them with the apply button. Seeing the results, then altering the CP weights again without closing the CP weight window...
This glitch, forces me to save after every successful CP weight alteration.

If you hit the "Done" button instead after every adjustment, you won't have the problem, Kev. I realize you will have to reopen the CP Weighting dialogue each time and that it should work with the "Apply" button, but, that's the workaround I use and haven't had any problems...I do a lot of CP Weighting.

Thanks for M. Besides the bug fix, it performs much better on my set with hair.
Krazyman
Yeah! I do that 90% of the time. But it still occassionally crashes, and switches off Animation Master... That's why I find I have to save often.
I normally wouldn't write, unless it was a serious problem. But I thought, maybe a tweak here or there could fix it...

Thanks for your interest anyway...

I downloaded again, now install runs fine. I think last downloaded file was corrupted.
