Here are links to the v14.0 Alpha 1 Installer.
Windows:OSX (Universal Binary): Features:
- 0003846: [Realtime] Improved handeling of errors switching Realtime driver, and starting with an unusable realtime driver. (Noel)
- 0003842: [Rendering] Render.Quality "Default" option changed to read "Realtime" (Noel)
- 0003835: [Timeline/Channel] Key Pose/Muscle/Bias disabled unless Key Model is on. So when key bone/branch is on next and prev keys see only that. (Noel)
- 0003800: [Multithreading] one thread hangs in SciFi CityScape (Steve)
- 0003770: [_ Not Selected _] Missing DLL (splinesmith)
Make sure when you report bugs to A:M Reports, and that you pick the v14 project in the upper right.

Don't suppose you got multicore/thread/processors working on the Mac version yet?

I just installed V14. I haven't rebooted yet, but when I first started AM V14 Alpha after installation I didn't see any Library files. Also, I opened a choreography with rabbit in , I noticed a point on the model stretching away from the rabbits face? I closed AM and restarted it, I opened the project again and maximized the choreography window and it exit'ed with a beep, no exception message boxes!
Also, how do I use the Gamma in the Advanced properties, I see a Striped box and a grey box next to it, is there some sort of calibration needed! cheers....

No. Right Click in a Choreography window and select Plugins
From there locate Export and you should see SWF as an option (its the first option on my dropdown menu).
Added: You may have to export out once BEFORE you can use the AM2SWF menu with all settings.
For some reason options aren't available (i.e. display errors) the first time I export. All is fine on subsequent exports.

Alpha and Beta versions usually expire about a month after they are installed and I think it has been just over a month since the last V4 Alpha.
I just had a look in my V14, and I did find a BVH export from Actions, but I didn't see any BVH import anywhere.
Imports Plugins into an action were "Motion (*.MOT)" and "KeyFrame (*.KFM)".

thanks a lot. There's a guy who makes a bunch of bvh stuff for other programs. I thought he might be interested in expanding to a:m. But if we dont got it we dont got it. No biggie.

We could see Alpha 2 this Friday. Martin has mentioned many times before that releases are done on Friday's. Up near the top of this thread is a link to the Change Log, check it for what's being done. Usually once there are several fixes in place, a new release is made.

As the Alpha/Beta releases fall into the subscription cycle I'll hazard a guess and say you can't use the v14 Alpha anymore without the Oz CD (2007 subscription).
You could probably find a copy of the early Alpha that worked with the Yeti CD... BUT... I'm sure it timed out long ago.
Time to save your pennies (or favorite coin of choice) for the upgrade.
Not only will you get the latest and greatest in Alphas/Betas and 2007 releases but you'll support Hash Inc in their effort to maintain Animation:Master.
