This is a pic I did a long while back and submitted for a contest with my attempts at my Hair paint style.. I posted a thread on that (probably archived by now).

But I found a program that does something similar (and much better than I could) called Gertrudis.

Here is the result. It required work of me painting the strokes in gertrudis, but not much more than that ;-)

OOOOHHH Colin! Very nice looking.
Very natural look to it.
The line on the head of the Hammer, makes it look like it is hollowed out a bit.
Looks like a random line on the head of the hammer....

But sweet over all!

You know, you could probably make a large giclé on canvas of that and sell it as a painting reproduction.

I've got a framed version here at home thats printed on watercolor paper on my epson 2200 ;-) That was probably what inspired me to try it out in the first place.
