I'm trying to force a keyframe for my character's jaw bone, however nothing appears in the timeline. What is even weirder is that most of the bones for my chactacter work just fine in this manner. Is there an option in the bone settings that I might of changed?
Rodney
There are several things that you might check.

Is the keyframe on frame 0?
Is Animate Mode toggled on?

This second variable is throwing off my calculations and is a bit too vague as we really don't know the manner in which you are animating.

Can you clarify further or post a screen shot or file?

No, I'm not on frame 0 and Animate mode is selected. There are actually a lot of bones that don't seem to be working right.

And I can't seem to upload the mdl- it says I don't have permission.

Model and Project files you'll have to place in a zipped file for uploading.
Winzip is a good compression utility for the PC.

Is it possible your contraints are turned off?
These can be turned on/off in 'User Properties'.

This sounds like a model you've created but not sure.

EDIT: Ok, Thanks
KenH
Forcing works for me on the jaw. The only thing I can think of is you have "key skeletal rotations" switched off....it's in the icons to the left of the force keyframe icon. But you say it's working for other bones.....

Maybe try her in a new project. Also what version are you using?

I'm using v12.0w

I do have a question: Do you have to move the bones manuelly at least once to use the force keyframe? I can L-Shift the force keyframe button and select "in all filtered channels" and then the keyframe wil appear in the timeline.
KenH
I believe it has to have been moved manually before it can be forced in v12w.

Oh, OK. Thanks.
