I have an old model i'm revamping, the face decal is what I would like to add too, however 3 models share the same face decal. My question is, if I load one model and paint on the face decal, then "save texture changes" when I go back to AM. Will this overwrite my original textures changing it accross all three models?

If this is true what is the best way to get it so save another set of textures instead of overwriting my originals?

Thanks for any assistance,

Yes if you say save texture changes - it will overwrite your original file - so don't do that.

Best to choose export to a new file name (rt click on the decal in 3dpainter) & then in A:M - relink the new decal image file.

(I love 3dpainter - it is so amazing)

ok great thanks nancy! It is pretty cool! The flexibility to just paint right on the models saves alot of time!!
