The more I use the composite with EXR files, the more I like it. It works well with Radiosity; however, ambiance maps are not stored for each light.

Here is the Radiosity scene with just one light:

The brightness and color of the light can be easily minipulated:

The brightness and color of the ambiance map created by radiosity can also be minipulated:

Both the light and the ambiance can be adjusted together to create a more balanced composite:

This works well with one light because the Ambiance map seen below only contains ambiance data from the one light.

Unfortunatly, when you start adding more lights,

all of the light's ambiance data is compiled into one ambiance map as you can see in the ambiance map below.

I would like to know is if there is a way to create an ambiance map for each light so that they can be composited the same was as a single light would.

I've figured out a way to do it, but I'll need some time to setup a composite. Probably with three mix downs, and each light has it's own mix; the final will mix the two lights together.

Once you have that done, if you could post a screen cap of your composite that would be great smile.gif. I love how you are getting into the technical aspect to get a good artistic result.

Right now I've only scratched the surface and I can see all the cool possibilities that can be done with A:M Composite. I just don't have the technical imagination to come up with them, haha.

Nice job on this.

I'll do one better. Here's the project file. Just unzip that to any location. The files needed for the project are included in the zip.

Here's the layout of the Composite. For some reason, Composites don't work very well when saved.

In this image, I've changed the intensities of each mix so that the top left is with both of the lights set with a really low intensity, and the bottom right is with both of the lights set with a high intensity.

The Radiosity blends perfectly.
