Full Version: My IBL lighting looks like it's upside-down

Hi everyone. I'm trying to set up some IBL tests, but for some reason, the lighting looks weird to me. It looks like it's upside-down, with Thom (I replaced his yellow color with a grayish tan) being lit from below:

As you can see from this screenshot of my settings, I'm using an OpenEXR light probe file, which as far as I can tell is right-side up. I even brought it in as a camera rotoscope to make sure.

Can anyone spot what I'm doing wrong? It seems to me that Thom should be receiving blue key light from above and brown fill light from below. I've tried playing with the Azimuth, but that just spins the environment lighting around like a top, which doesn't really address the issue. All lights are off. This is just the IBL.

I think, at least when this was first introduced, it was found that it needs to be flipped within A:M 180o to get it correct, but I forgot how you do that.

I know, but I'm pretty sure Yves fixed that. At the time, there was an "Elevation" property you could modify, but it's gone now.
