I'm in the weeds with SVN. I was trying to check in the latest throne room models on my own and not thoroughly understanding the SVN Walkthrough (commit = send?, update = receive?), I have apparently downloaded (checked out?) a car load of actions that I definitely don't want. I'm guessing I had the wrong directory selected when I hit the button that started the download (update?). I hit cancel as soon as I realized what was happening but I still got quite a few files.

I don't mind experimenting in SVN with my own data since I have total control over that. Is there some way that somebody can override the status of these files so I can just delete them? Or do I have to figure out how to check them back in from here?

Thanks.

Noel
That won't hurt any thing. You can delete them from your computer, but depending on your (svn / A:M svn settings) you may get them back once you re-update your local copy (recieve). I would suggest just doing nothing unless you need disk space. The only time you'll get those files updated is if some one actually changes and commits them, and then you'll only get the actual changes not the whole file.

Hey, there's no way I can screw up anything, right? I have lots of fears. I downloaded about 8GB of data last night without it giving me a choice and now I'm fearful contributors are waiting for me to release it or something. Tell me it isn't so.

It ain't so.
