Do you have a material applied to the model? like crome or mirror?

If you have the 2005 CD it's on there. I didn't change the model. The last version that it worked in was 11.

I think I will make the question VERY pointed... PLEASE state the model name (file name specifically)... we can't read your mind and I don't see a name anywhere... Box1 is what the picture is named and there is no 'box1.mdl' on the CD from v8.5 on up... please make it clear.

1) You've got the wrong CD
2) You've got the wrong Installer
3) Some other incompatibility

I can certainly try but there are a lot of things I don't know on my end.

Try starting A:M with the SHIFT key held down.
This tells A:M to open without trying to open the last project loaded.
